Hi Every one,

I'm not sure if the home owner have his/her unit rented out, the owner does not live in the complex can he/she run for the board?

Thank you

check your documents, that is where the answer is. Typically being an owner qualifies you to run for the board, but not always. Some associations you don't have to be an owner to run for the board.

Brian,

As Brad posted, if your governing documents do not prevent him from running by having a qualification that all Directors must be residents, then they should be allowed to be a candidate.
