We live in MO. I have not found any laws pertaining to HOA's only corporations we are a not for profit incorporated HOA, if nothing in our covenants/restrictions/by-laws addresses an issue do we follow corporate law ?

As a nonprofit corporation you must comply with your States corporate law. This is in addition to any HOA laws, Federal laws and your governing documents.

This is true for any Association that is incorporated (most are).
