This property management company we have is owned by a man whose wife acts as the president and the daughter is the receptionist. There are a lot of things that have been very shady over the past several months so I decided to get my hands on records. Come to find out the man who owns this property managment company was paid $350.00 to repair an area on our CITY OWNED CURB and this expense was logged under the AP reports as "General Maintenance".

I of course talked to our Street Department who stated that this man and company had not obtained a permit for this repair and following their survey of the repair claimed that they would have provided the same service at no direct charge to our HOA.

The owner lists himself with the inital of his first and last name under BACKFLOW PREVENTION in the AP report.

I have asked to see bank records and have been denied.

Any thoughts?

Dorie,

The Management company works for the Board. Take the issue up with the Board.

Donna - I don't know if things are the same where you live but the city would have taken months, if even ever, to come out to work on a "backflow" problem in our sub.

Track this issue: apparently there was a problem. Was it worth $350 to fix?
