A new law dealing with Executive Sessions was signed into law on September 6, 2011. It is called SB563 and a link to its highlights are below. This is for California HOA's only.

Yes, Richard; I saw it in the davis-sterling.com Newsletter today too. Note: it becomes effective on 1/1/12. Part of this legislation also limits unanimous written decisions by all board members to emergencies only.

Say, Richard, re: posting executive session agendas, I (Board pres.) think we'll redact the names/units#s of those called to hearing. And list pre lien discussions by APN only. I haven't thought this part through yet, but how do you think you'll handle personnel issues, potential litigation, etc.?
