What can we do, two marijuana co-ops have moved into our POA center. Some owners don't care if co-ops are here (they are not next to the co-op). The owners next to the co-ops don't want them here. Owners of the units the co-ops are renting could care less (rents are high)if there are problems for neighbors. Problems are marijuana smell, smoking, hanging out, co-op customers can be messy and rude.

Randy,

Davis-Stirling.com created a Medical Marijuana page on it's site that may provide some helpful information.

What is their address, I want to go talk to them. LOL Actually, it may be better than to have colledge students with alcohol parties

randy, what you can do is apply the rule and regulations you have on the books.

would it be acceptable to you if the smell, noises, smoke, and extra people hanging around were because of alcohol? Or nicotine? Or caffeine? Would it be okay with your CC&Rs if folks sold coffee, drank and slurped it loudly, and hung out at all hours, etc.?

It shouldn't matter WHY something is done, what should matter are the simple basics facts of what IS or ISN'T done, and if you have regulations that pertain to those facts.

So, are these people breaking any of the condo regulations, or is it simply that their drug of choice is offensive to people with different drugs of choice?
