Hi, just wondering if any one has some friendly verbiage to instruct homeowners to first contact the property management company for all inquiries vs. going to the one of the board's home first. It has become a nuisance constantly being interupted during dinner or during my own personal time with my family. My goal is to continue to maintain communications, but for the first point of contact to be with the PM. Thank you in advance for your friendly input.

John,

This is definitely a job for the M.C to handle. Our M.C has nice refrigerator magnets with their 800 number on it and instructions to call them first. Our dues coupon and the office bulleten board also have the number. Put it on the newsletter or website and every place available to you. It took a little time to get everyone programed to do this but keep at it and the members will catch on soon. Our neighborhood telephone book has the number big and bold on the front cover as well.

Thanks Donna, good advice. That is exactly what I am preparing now - a newsletter. I'm stuck on exactly how to say this though...

With the help of this site, our Association wrote a simple article on what to do if you disagree with a decision of the Board or Committee. This article effectively told them to place the issue in writing.

I've attached a copy of the article.
