We have all seen or posted in various threads how thankful we are that this site exists. In my very limited experience from maintaining my Associations website, I know that it can be a lot of work to manage a site. As members of the Board or a Committee, we all know that the thank you's are few and far between and although thanks are typically not expected - it is always nice to hear.

Therefore, I thought a thread that simply says THANK YOU to the moderators and supporters might be appropriate for providing the site.

To the Moderators, Sponsors, Web Administrators and others,

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO.

It is appreciated

Tim

I agree entirely with Tim. I, as board president, am learning so much from this site! Even if something doesn't speak directly to issues that concern my HOA, the discussions often prompt me to think in new and different ways.

Also agree:
Through this site we purchased our Community Web Site with Community123.com. If anyone wants to have your own community web site you would do yourself a huge favor by taking the trial period advertised at the left. They built this site (HOATALK.com) where we are priviledged to discuss our issues/concerns so we all know the quality of their work.

I was not the board president at the time, but among nine board members who just kept discussing over, and over about the need of having our own web site.
Some homeowners wanted to create their own (what a disaster that would have been) but I ask COMMUNITY123.com to create ours without telling the board.
It was free, and if it wasn't what we could use it could have been cancelled. Within the trial period we had over forty homeowners who had signed on, and the board was very happy. Even though, not all homeowners have computers, we now have around 170 registered email addresses on our web site.
They have been our provider for years, and continue to keep us updated on new benefits. We would not consider changing, because once you have the best, there is no where else to go.
We are really happy with the navigational tools provided, and the excellant assistance from the staff.
Thanks much to HOATALK.com, and COMMUNITY123.com.

As one of the older if not oldest posters, I have turned to the moderators several times to remove the spams and once in a while, even a nasty. Always there and always taking care of the site, we all do thank you for your continuing responsivness to our requests. Without the sponsors, we would not have this place to attempt to help others and we thank you for your part in providing a safe, helpful place. Donna

I might very likely be one of the newest posters and a new board member. I am so glad that I found this site. I felt very lonely having to fight two weathered board members who don't care about Bylaws or CC&Rs. Thanks for everything you do. It is very much appeciated.

I could not agree more. I found this site through a search & was glad I did. I too have learned so much. I have been on the board for 6 years because no one wants to volunteer but this is my last year no matter what happens. We have 195 units & can't get help.

Yes, what a great thread to create. The site is so supportive and helpful and my personal kudo's to all the moderators and also to the posters, especially the ones we see over and over again, who offer their personal experience for the benefit of the rest of us.
