I've been searching this site and learning from others for several months now, thanks to everyone for such a wealth of information. Unfortunately, I need to contact a registered member of this site, she asked me to send her an e-mail address, but I cannot find a way to send a personal message or an e-mail as is common on many sites today.

Am I somehow overlooking this feature, or is it not possible to send an e-mail address to a member of this site without posting it on the open forum?

I sure hope that it is not available. If one of us wants to be available, we will post our email but it should not be available for anyone to have just by a request. Sorry Tom.

Tom,We don't offer this feature to protect the privacy of our members. We recommend that people can post a temporary email address here to get in touch with each other so their real email is not saved in the forum. Anyone can get a free address at Yahoo, Google, etc and forward to their real address. Then the temp one can be deleted or shut down any time.

Tom,

Create a gmail, hotmail or other account. Post that account for the person you want to hear from. They can send info there and you can then chose to reply with your normal e-mail account or not. When you are done using the newly created account, use it or abandon it.

Tim
