Have two general questions looking for input:

1) We have designated areas for dogs to be taken to do their thing, as always there are several unit owners who do not.
what do other assoc. do about this.

2) I am new too board and the agreement with our management co. is they attend only 6 meetings a year which includes the annual meeting. This does not seem right to me should they not attend every meeting.

thank you and I look forward to your comments.

If your contract with the management company states that they will attend only six meetings a year, including the annual meeting, then that's all they're obligated to do.

If the HOA believes the management company should attend more meetings, or every meeting, you would need to negotiate a new contract or an amendment to the current one. More than likely, the management company will want more money to do that since they must pay a representative (your property manager or a designee) to attend. You could negotiate a contract for a specified number of meetings at a fixed cost, then attendance at any meeting above that would be at a specified cost per meeting.

Do you have a rule, and penalties?

Kyle,

Do you have signs posted indicating where dogs are and are not allowed?

Oops. I mean Michael. Darn, I wish I could edit my own posts!
