I live in a condo community with 48 units. The board has closed our pool due to construction. The pool is not a danger and the city has not closed it. As owners, what can we do?

Can't answer your question, but want to understand the dynamics of it all. Did they let residents know before hand or was it just one day, boom, closed? No insight from them about a reason?

Hopefully it'll be open again soon for you if it isn't a danger...

Hi Christine:

What construction?

From your question it potentially appears that they are getting ready to maybe drain and work on or resurface the pool, if so they would need to close the pool for said construction to be completed. To maintain the pool is the boards duty and obligation.

What you can do is ask the board or management company why the pool was closed.

Sorry but your question is too vague. It is closed for construction.....does that mean that there is HO water in it now and it was drained?Does it mean that they are attempting to come into compliance with that new law on drains and motors?
