I am new to all this HOA stuff, we live in a mobile home park in Florida, and I am wondering about bylaws, who writes them, where are they kept. Also does a
HOA have to file income taxes ? Like I said I am new at all of them I did read Florida 720 status and its confusing sometimes. I was Vice President of HOA for a while. Thanks.

Deborah,

Are you owners of your land, Statutes 720 or tenancy under Fl Chapter 723 for Mobile Homes?

We do not own the land we rent it. Here are a few things that they told us Management.

I ask them for the size of my lot, they said in Florida since you rent there is no size of lot.

They also told everyone we have to cut and trim the trees, I said no cause we
do not own the land, and look at the Fla. status and found you do not take care
of the trees from a prev. law suit.

This is an over 55 community, and I know twenty percent they told us has to be over 40. but we have some young kids here.

Thanks for all the help, I am so new at this.

Debbie
