Hello all,

Our new elections just wrapped up. Not new HOA BOD members, exception me. I was elected to be "member at large". None the less, our BOD rescheduled an annual meeting this past week. Our original date was May 5th... there was no quorum so they rescheduled. The date was discussed at open forum.

Last week on Tuesday a repeat meeting was held. The issue? No AGENDA was posted, the membership was not alerted. This is a huge issue. I missed the meeting due to this as I rely on those reminders.

It clearly broke DSA and yet our BOD held an unsheduled, unannouced meeting. Our own website didn't have it announced.

How do I go about bringing this up gingerly? Open session? I emailed our management company and BOD and there has been no response to this.

Thank you..

Sounds like you did the right thing. Now you just have to wait and see if they try to have another unannounced meeting. Was this a special meeting of some type? I ask because while OH doesn't require an agenda to be posted prior to the meetings, all Board meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 7pm which is easy to remember, mark on a calendar, etc.

Studies show that 5 out of 4 people have problems with fractions

Are you talking about the re-scheduled Annual Meeting?

Check to see if an adjourned meeting (to another time) has to be "Noticed" to all members by mail.

In most cases, it is just announced when the rescheduled meeting will be.

But it really should have been posted on the web site.

Remember that at an Annual Meeting, all board members attend as Members, since this is a membership meeting, not a board meeting. Really, just the President and the secretary should be at the front of the room, to lead the meeting and to take minutes. All board members are there just as members. They have no special status at that meeting.
