I am the Vice President of the Weatherford Homeowners Association. And we have a big problem.

We are trying to locate an Attorney to help in our representation. We are not a big community only 87 homes of which 65homes are sold and considered occupied so we do not have alot of money. We are also looking for information regarding arbritration. If anyone out there can help with this information We would be very appreciative.

I am posting each one of our concerns etc individually. We have many and are trying to lock into a system. But we do need representation. We also would like to know if anyone can help with and idea on cost for the two items listed above.

Thank you

I would suggest that you hire an attorney that will get paid on a case to case basis since your HOA is not very large. What is your assesment dues amount? and how often are they due?

Mine is $250.00 yearly and we have 133 homes.

So 250 times 133 = $33,250.00 is are income.

Our lawfirm work on a case to case basis.
You mention that you don't have alot of money. But if you have enough to act on your major cases and then you'll be OK since the homeowner will have to rembures your attorney fees anyway. You make that money back if you should win your case.
