We are getting a new fence installed and some aspects are not going real well. We are doing once set of homes at a time at the cost of about $3500 each. Should the management company be doing inspection on the work being done on a daily basis? What typically is their role? Thanks

Are you fencing HOA common area?

The board has ultimate responsibility for the association, the management company is an employee of the association and performs duties at the direction of the board.

William, the management company does inspections according to the management agreement. I have never done inspections on a daily bais. The management companies role would be to monitor on a scheduled basis the work of this independent contractor while maintaining the rules establish for independent contractors. The key is to have a good fence contract and not pay until the job is completed as per the contract and has been inspected.
