RogerB,,

Please help if you can. A while back you posted a checklist that a HOA needs prior to a Turnover for the Developer to have taken care of. I printed it out and now cannot find it. Any chance that you would be so kind to post it again?

Thank you Roger,

Donna

Here is a copy of the one I also downloaded and saved that Roger posted.

Janet,

Thanks so much, THAT BE THE ONE!!!! I just got wind from a neighbor that the Developer wants to get rid of us(the developement) sometime this year. I know our documents inside and out but outside of that, there is so much to get cleared up and to be prepaired rather that be surprised.

He had advertised a community clubhouse with a pool which has not happened in the almost 4 years here. But the good news is that none of us except 1 family, want a pool. Now we need to inform him that he won't be doing us any favors if he does start the pool because we don't want it. There is no mention of a pool in any documents or contracts so we should not have an issue with him and no pool.

Hi Donna:

You are most welcome … glad I could help. I am with you unless I have a home somewhere such as Florida, Arizona, or Nevada where sun and pool is almost year round, a pool can be more of a money pit than it is worth.

New vacation family home in Las Vegas, NV HOA has two pools but at least the fee is extremely reasonable.

Good luck with the transition!
