Hi,

I want to get a jump on preparing our 2010 hoa taxes. The IRS website still only shows the 2009 1120-h form. I've found the 2010 in Draft form, but I thought the IRS was required to have all their forms for a given year finalized by Jan 31st of the next year. Does anyone know when I can reasonably expect to have the latest 1120-h available?

thanks!

Thank you!

How did you find it? It's not on the IRS website or anywhere I google. I guess it should be up shortly, if various providers already have it.

Caution! The search that TimB performed on the IRS site will turn up only the 2009 version of the form. There is a draft of the 2010 form at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-dft/f1120h--dft.pdf but as of today the form is not final.

I may be wrong, but the pdf posted earlier by RichardP appears to be a photoshopped version of the 2009 form. The font of the large-type year in the upper right of the form is not consistent with valid IRS forms. Richard, can you tell us who suppplied you with that form?

I ended up ordering the form from IRS and just received a postcard that the form is still not available but will be mailed to me as soon as it is. That seemed like the easiest way so I don't have to keep checking.

The form I supplied is directly from my software package provided by Drake Software. According to Drake, the IRS forgot to put it on their website, but it should be up soon as there were no changes to cause a delay.

I called up the IRS today and after a few transfers all over the place, it came to pass that they don't actually have any kind of way of knowing when it'll be ready, but it does sounds like there's a ton of forms that are running late this year. Oh well, there's still over a month.

I was told by H & R block the form will be released on February 15, which was yesterday. I haven't checked it out, but hopefully it is out there.
