On some of the installs of the 10-11 dishes that were put up, some have damaged the electrical boxes. The wiring is either for the dish or the cable that comes in from the outside. The problem is that the installers didn"t have a clue on the install or there just isn't a good way to install the cables. Some covers/panels are bent or actually drilled through the top or bottom. They finally gave up on some and just put the wires through the panel door and just closed it shut.(bending open the door)

Do we fix and fine the violator, cable company or what?

CCRS say no dish in common area-these are all in violation ans we are working ,on a case by case basis, to fix them.

Fine the homeowner and either have them fix it to the association's standards or else have it fixed and bill the homeowner.

I would call the dish company and find out if the work done was sub-contracted to you. Alot of sub-contractors do a piss poor job. I would also raise a big stink about it and take a picture of the work done. There is a way to make it look nice and neat. My husband installed dishes and it always was clean. It can be done. It is THEIR responsibility to do the install correctly, not the homeowners and they shouldn't be penalized for it.

Just to clarify, if the work was done by a sub-contractor, that means that they get paid by how many installs they do. So the more they do , the more money they make which is why they do a bad job. If the install is directly from the company, they do a better job because they're paid by the hour and usually take their time.
