I just reviewed the standard letter we send out for ARB approvals. I was surprised to see that it does not contain language setting out our expectations for future maintenance, upkeep, etc. Could anyone provide some sample language that you include in your letter?
Thanks

Scott,

We don't include any of that language either, as any addition or outbuilding is expected to be maintained per the CC&Rs.

We do include the following:

Homeowners are solely responsible for any required permits and/or inspections that may be required by the County. Questions regarding permits should be directed to [name and number of County Agency]. Additional information on County permits can be found at [County website address]

Approval from the Architectural Committee is in addition to any permits required by the County.
