Hello HOA Talk.
Please be aware that my multiple listings here were due to a computer glitch. This was not done on purpose, and to assume so is incorrect. This forum has so many wonderful people with wonderful advice and support. I 'd like to make sure you know this... however, I do not appreciate someone speaking up and pointing a finger at me, telling me get my mouse or whatever fixed. I feel it's time to leave this forum.. People need to be a bit more forgiving in this world.....

Noelle,

Just an example of how easily we get sidetracked off of the subject. I appologize to you from those who are too fast on the criticizing trigger. I do wish that we had spell check and edit features. (Monitor,
can you hear us now? )

Donna I can't help with the edit feature but I use Firefox as my browser and it does have spell check. It just doesn't help you if you don't no (know) the difference between their, there and they're.

Studies show that 5 out of 4 people have problems with fractions

Noelle, if you are so sensitive to criticism then maybe you should reconsider why you expose yourself to it by posting on an anonymous public forum.

...OR, you could try practicing what you preach: "People need to be a bit more forgiving in this world."

Thanks Glen,

I tried to download Firefox but my Vista operating system will not let me. Arrrrrg, this stinks as for ease of use system. I also have "Works" which is s bitch as well. Time for a new computer but mine is only 11 months old.

Sam, it is the Holidays and Noelle really shouldn't get a tongue lashing for pushing the button---4 times. For who among us is without fault?

I really couldn't care less how many times you posted your question. I have this rare ability to work around it. Rare in the sense others have the need to comment. I also understand not everyone is the computer wizard others would have us beleive they are. Next time post it 5 times and maybe someone's shorts will bunch all up again.

Some people jump into things which really did not call for their opinions or viewpoints. And some people seem eager to jump into roles no one has asked them to assume. This site can operate without their guidance IMO.

Noelle Happy Holidays and hit the button as many times as you would like. LOet the self appointed moderator be ______.

Donna, Glenn and John---so HAPPY to see you regular posters jump in here! SureshD is NOT a monitor for HOATalk and needs to get her "attitude" in check.

I've been on this site for over four years but it's because of the FEW people like SureshD that I quit posting so often.

NoelleC3 Sweetie, you keep on posting and asking for help with your problems, questions, etc. SureshD and her attitude are the topics of MULTIPLE postings on this site.

People like her are part of the PROBLEMS and NEVER part of the solutions. She's critical, not helpful and thrives on "drama". She's the "malcontent" in her association....and everyone has ONE like her.

NoelleC3-- PLEASE understand that the majority of us on HoaTalk are NOT like her...we'll continue to help you out wherever we can. HoaTalk is supposed to be a "positive" place to post and help one another.

We CAN contact them to have a poster blocked if they don't follow the guidelines of this site....it's been done before.

P.S. to SureshD....I will NOT get into a pi---ing match with you over this. Stay nice, polite and considerate...or GET OFF!

Dear Anna,

I guess that not hearing from you for a while was a good thing. Seems that you have been saving up all of your energy for when we needed you. Atta Girl! (

LOL for sure there are at least ONE in every community or HOA.

Ours is a tenured owner. He will complain and belly ache about all kinds of things, but even when he was on the board, he was neve available, nor did he help with anything and he missed more than 50% of our meetings... But, he would complain about everything... all the time.

Complain not act..

Who are you taliking about?

I've looked back at both of there recent posts.

Suresh seemed helpful and knowledgeable.

Noele seemd to complaining alot about her board and issues with thier ammenities or clubhouse.

I've also noticed many others chasing off trols or spamers like they are the monitord.

It seems she just asked why the multiple posts and noele went crazy. Then other teamed up and took sides agaust suresh.

I made a post this morning that showed up twice, too - for no apparent reason.

Noe,

You are correct. Suresh is a very wise person and knows the Florida Statues as well as anyone that I know of. Noelle is showing herself to be a novice at HOA matters and those of us who post regularly seem to get impatient with this. The moral of the story is that we need to not overreact when someone pushes our buttons. We are here to help and that pretty much is it.

Thanks Donna for that.

There also may be cultural differences at play in this case that can create misunderstandings in the written word or the intentions behind them.

Sorry for my poor spelling (typing) in the previous post.

I don't see cultural differences here unless it's just not so obvious to me. I think it's just what it is. Sometimes self appointed know it alls end up making a royal A** of the themselves. We as HOA board members see this all the time, even amongst ourselves yes?

I am obviously one of the newbies on here----is there a way to track posts from one individual? There are some members that are very knowledgeable and I would love to be able to search out more posts from them.

Thanks

Sharon,

We are glad to have you here. On the top of this page on the blue narrow bar, there are options to chose. Click on "Forum Search". You can type in a posters name or a subject and that should give you the responses that you are asking for. Good Luck.
