I can't find a link to set a pointer to a news article here (nor on the CAN site), but I found these two about a Northern VA HOA that is trying to dissolve.

Very good article about the problem facing HOA's who wish to dissolve with common property.

"Give it up to the city" is easy to say, but as these folks are finding out, it takes two to tango, and the cities usually don't want to dance.

thanks for finding and sharing that.

Locally we have a village who has been trying to dissolve for the past few years. It is right in the middle of where three townships intersect and none of them want to take responsibility for the village.

Studies show that 5 out of 4 people have problems with fractions
