Our President wants our board to change certain articles in our legal docs. Our board has already paid an attorney one-half the fee to change them at her direction.

She sent out to all in our association what the board wants to change.

However, my legal docs (originals) are NOT the same as everyone else's legal docs (I am an original owner.)

Does it matter that my legal docs are NOT the same as my neighbors?

Mary,

Yes,it does matter! Every property owner in the HOA should have the same set of governing documents. Could it be that there was an amendment passed that you did not receive a copy of? I would certainly bring this to the attention of the BOD. Someone needs to do a little research and find out which set is the correct set.
