Our HOA consists of a small group of owners of rental cabins in rural Tennessee. We have CCR's, but no By-Laws. My question is, does anyone have a set of simple bylaws that we could tailor for our group? I have looked at dozens of bylaws on line, but they seem designed for much larger organizations. I should think that a few pages would be sufficient for our needs. Thank you.

Our subdivision is 40 lots and yet our By-Laws are 15 pages. Keep in mind your By-Laws are how you are governed with regards to your board, officers, membership, meetings, voting, etc. The CCR's are basically your "rules and regulations". Most By-Laws will be the same length regarding number of pages to cover essentially the same information.

Ray,

It's also best that you stick to bylaws from Associations in your State as a guide. Those bylaws will most likely be in compliant with your State laws (corporation, condo, hos, etc.). If you used bylwas from another state as an example and fail to compare against existing State law, you may be leaving some important legal stuff out.
