occasionally I like to go back and pull up all the posts that I was involved in - this comes in handy if I've forgotten the answer to a question - many other websites have what's called an advanced search option where you can search on user name - I've clicked Forum Search and entered my user name but my posts don't come up ??

has anyone else had this problem ? am I doing the search wrong ? any feedback appreciated .

try to google it. if you type in the original question, it will come up depending how old it was

When I use my User ID (JohnO6) in the Search box for this forum, it works perfectly. However Donald as you mention, when I use yours (DonaldN)it doesn't seem to work.

I would check with the forum administrator to see if there's something unique about the display of your User ID.

what you do is click My Profile under the Search/Magifier Glass on the right & then view posts by user .
