I know back in 2009 new Florida Statutes were written and amended to. Can someone please tell me the "basic" steps needed to Recall a person from the board. Also, can someone tell me where the new amended text is in the Statute requiring Presidents only being allowed one-year-terms. I know I read it but cannot find the actual verbage. Thank you very much for any help you can give me, my meeting is this evening 10/14/10.

Jacqueline,

Recall of the Board is under State Statutes 720, 303 (10) Read it because there are no "basic steps" that can be written down into a paragraph or so.

I believe the 1 year term that you mention is for condo associations which is a different Statute. That would be S.S 718

I did as you stated and found a very large paragraph ref. Recalls. I have just had a HOA monthly meeting and told everyone where to find this information, thanks to your help and I have also printed out the DBPR Form to go with it. Thanks again!
