The US post office has sent me a notice that my bulk mailing permit will not be honored unless I have "Intelligent Mail" bar codes. I send out 312 newsletters about 5 or 6 times a year using this permit. It saves us more than 50% on our mailing costs. How do I go about finding out how a very small community newsletter can get these bar codes? I've gone to the websites in the letter but they are all for people who are in the business of direct mail. Anyone in the same boat?
