Hello,
I live in a condo complex, here is my question, The neighbor who lives directly behind me is very loud.
I have made complaints to our board, and they have informed me, that due to the noise is directly inside of
their unit, they do not have any say so in the matter. I find that to be untrue, I know there must be rules/laws
out there when it come to neighbor being extremely loud and disturbing others. especially late hours into the night
please help. If you are in your unit and the noise is traveling out, disturbing other, what can be done. other
than calling the police. Have anyone here experienced this before, if you know of the law please send it to me
so that I may present to the board. Thanks

Kimberly

Get a copy of your assn. documents and review them for the rules and CCRs. In there you will find what the restrictions are and the Board's "tools" to deal with community complaints.

I suspect there must be something protecting you from problems that can be a nusience or reduce the "enjoyment" of your home.

Never take anyone's "word" on these issues, get it in writing.

Kimberly,

Next time this happens, call the police -- that's what they are for! I know you asked for other options, but I really think this is the best way to go.

Went thru it, and I was told the same thing, inside noise is between the owners.
Call the police and make reports. Eventually they will get caught, mine did for a stereo. Forgot to turn the knob down on the stereo so when the police turned it on it blasted their ears, so they got busted.

I f the Police refuse to help here, them go to City Hall and request the City Ordinance/ by laws and find if the city has any ordinance in this matter. Before all this please read the Documents/ by laws of your Community.
